Stories on Mobile Marketing

People have always traveled, and tourism is now one of the biggest industries globally. People go to towns, beaches, or mountains for leisure and vacations. To relax and relieve stress. Europe is a destination for tourism and attracts tourists from all over the world. Europe accounts for half of the world’s international arrivals, and five out of the world’s top ten destinations are in Europe. No, today’s article isn’t about the two “just tourists” admiring the beauties of towns upon Avon and the White Carpathians nature park landscape. I’d rather look into what helps you to quench travelers’ curiosity in the digital age.

I know the travel plans of all people are impacted right now. But we will continue fulfilling our wanderlust and resume travel as soon as it is possible again. Travelers are thorough readers and explorers. We read up about a place before we plan to visit. And we do everything on our mobile phones. Hotels, guesthouses, wellness centers, tour and destination operators, or VIP service providers should align their interaction with your customers with this digital reality.

Mobile payments proved increasingly popular during the pandemic, with usage expected to continue to grow in the coming years. Mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay allow people to pay for goods and services online, and in stores by holding the mobile phone or smartwatch near a payment terminal. These mobile payment methods are not only easy to set up but are also convenient and increasingly widely accepted. And while it is too early to predict winners, Apple Pay leads in European as well as U.S. mobile payments despite the fact that the vast majority of mobile phones in use run Android.

Mobile Wallets – Your Gateway To Digital Marketing

Mobile wallets are not just about payments. People can also add airline and bus boarding passes, event tickets, membership cards, loyalty cards, coupons, and much more to their Apple Wallet and Google Pay mobile wallets. That’s how mobile wallets could take your digital marketing to a new level. They enable for smooth delivery of your advertising and the easy issuing and redemption of digital coupons and loyalty points.

All you need to start is your own digital content in your customers’ mobile wallets. Destination and tour operators can introduce digital destination or visitor information cards. Hotels and guesthouses can engage guests with the most direct communication through digital stay and guest passes, or digital booking confirmations. And local businesses can use all kinds of digital membership cards to make people keep coming back. It is simple, cost-efficient, and fast to set up with the right partner.

As people basically live on mobile phones today, it is absolutely the channel you need to be on in order to interact with travelers. It is all about being in the right place at the right time. Going mobile will help you reach more customers and help your small business in the long run. Provide travelers with practical destination tips such as things to do, where to eat, what to explore, and what to avoid.

Digital Vouchers

Attracting customers — visitors and travelers — can be one of the biggest challenges for small businesses in tourist destinations. Digital vouchers can help you to raise awareness. Everyone likes vouchers including myself. You can build and run a smart and simple loyalty program with digital vouchers that would live in travelers’ mobile wallets. They can be quickly shared with your customers in multiple ways such as text message, email, QR code. People can then simply add them to Apple Wallet and Google Pay without downloading another app. You can even create them in multiple languages to be shown in your customer’s device language. Digital vouchers are interactive and allow you for sending push notifications with your deals, promotions, and discounts, or exclusive content directly to the lock screen of your customers. You can update them at any time — keeping information always relevant and up to date.

Disney Parks In Apple Wallet

From this April, guests at Walt Disney World Resort are able to enjoy a convenient and contactless new option for entering the theme parks and more. The new Disney MagicMobile service is available on iPhone and Apple Watch now but coming soon to other devices. Guests can create a digital Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app and add it to the Apple Wallet. For added ease for families, people can also store multiple passes on a single mobile phone.

When entering the parks or using other available features, people can easily enter by simply hold a mobile phone or smartwatch near an access point. The My Disney Experience app also enables Disney Resort hotel guests to unlock their room door using our current digital room key feature. The service is offered in addition to — and as a digital replacement for — the MagicBand, the colorful, all-in-one bracelet.
